Thanksgiving in February
Looking for an excuse to eat out? Thanksgiving in February is on Tuesday, Feb. 22nd. On that day, participating restaurants donate 10%, 15% or 20% of their gross receipts to hunger relief agencies such as Gaithersburg HELP, Manna Food Center, and The Shepherd's Table. Fifteen restaurants in Gaithersburg are participating this year, and a total of over 70 throughout the county. Some local participating restaurants: Flaming Pit (dinner only), Laredo Grille, Il Porto, India Bistro, O'Donnell's, Old Siam, Star Diner, Thai Thanium, Coal Fire, and Zio's. For a complete list of restaurants, checkout the website www.thanksgivinginfebruary.org or pick up a flier from church.
