Description:
St Rose Religion Camp evolved from an adaptation of a published Christian VBS program, Marketplace 29, to an intergeneration faith formation experience founded in Scripture and highlighting the stories and rich traditions of our Catholic faith.  The creativity and expertise of parishioners has been key in developing the various experiential learning centers, as well as our daily theater and music session.  The program currently has nine years of themes that explore Christian history at key moments and places throughout the world.

Volunteering Information:  Many volunteers, both teens and adults, are needed to make our camp possible.

Key Volunteer Positions:

• Group Leaders* (8 teams)
• Preschool Class Leaders*(4 teams)
• Marketplace Activities –( 14 teams)
• Music and drama volunteers
• Nursery staff* – 4 adults
• Kitchen Volunteers – 5 each day
• Administration – processing registrations, making copies

Part-time jobs are available. Some of our volunteer opportunities require only 2 or 3 mornings of participation. 

Teens are the key!  Youth ministers make camp an amazing experience for the kids of our parish, and you can earn SSL hours. 

Nursery care is provided for children of volunteers.

*Adult volunteers serving in these positions are required to complete fingerprinting and child protection class.
