St. Rose Liturgical Ministries (e.g. usher, acolyte, lector). We are eager to include young people as
ministers at our Masses.
We also have excellent youth choirs
coordinated by Dr. Jeanne Vanover.
Teens Love Christ (TLC) choir: Music Ministry for students in grades 8-12. Rehearses Sunday evenings 6-7:30 in the church and sings at the 11:15 mass every third week (Team B Ministry). No experience needed, just a desire to lead the community in sung prayer. (Click for TLC Registration Form)
Teen Cantors: Train to serve as cantor by singing with the TLC. Periodic cantor training sessions are held as well as mentoring by experienced teen cantors.
Liturgical Dancers: Rehearse seasonally- dates to be announced as needed. No formal dance training required, just an ability to move with grace and dignity with the purpose of enhancing the worship experience for the gathered community. First event- Fiesta Mass at 5:00 on Septmeber 26th.

 The HOUSE BAND ministers primarily for the week of Encounter the Gospel of Life, our annual service camp experience at the University of Maryland (dates for 2011 are July 10-15) . Young people from St. Rose and other many other parishes grow in their musical, technical, ministry and leadership skills through the expert mentoring of our leadership team lead by Justin Russell and Chris Luensman. The House Band has already started rehearsing (3-6pm most every Sunday, in the St. Rose Youth Room)! To find out more or to get involved with House Band, please contact Justin Russell.
YM Drama Ministries is back and needs some new energy from new members and helpful volunteers! This past year we had another successful Passion Drama, and we'd like to make more of this amazing ministry. Presently we are looking at presenting once a month for the Religious Education programs on Monday and Tuesday nights.
